Conference Technologies, Inc. Acquires Assets of United Visual, Inc.
ST. LOUIS, MO — Audio visual systems integrator Conference Technologies, Inc.® has announced that they have purchased the assets of United Visual, Inc. and hired its key personnel.
The move is part of an expansion strategy that has helped the company open five new offices since January 1, including this move into the Chicago area.
"We see tremendous opportunities for technology companies that are well managed, well-staffed and financially secure," says Conference Technologies, Inc.® President and CEO, John Laughlin. In addition to the geographic expansion, Laughlin has led an effort to hire more IT engineers and technicians, a crucial move as audio and video systems become more closely tied to IP networks. As part of this strategy, Conference Technologies has formed strategic partnerships with Microsoft, LifeSize, Crestron and SMART Technologies.
Still, the key to the company's growth strategy, according to Laughlin, is to hire the best technical and sales people in every market they serve. "By hiring the very best from United Visual, we now have the core we need to go after Chicago-area clients."
