Client Description: Missouri Department of Conservation, since 1937, has been working to control, manage, restore, conserve and regulate the bird, fish, game, forests and all other wild resources in the state. Their goal is to create healthy, sustainable plant and animal communities well into the future.
Client's Needs: An auditorium facility capable of delivering high quality sound and video for large audience events. This system is being used for staff & public meetings, large audience programs for schools, guest speakers, and concerts. Missouri Department of Conservation also utilizes this space for educational films, videos and training sessions.
Results: Conference Technologies, Inc. (CTI) consultants and engineers collaborated with Missouri Department of Conservation’s facilities department to design an auditorium space capable meeting the audio and video needs of the client.
The Powder Valley auditorium seats more than 275 and features a front projection video system, customized touch-screen control system that controls the lighting, display devices, surround sound and microphone levels. The auditorium also features an assisted listening system for the hearing impaired. A separate control room in the rear of the room, houses the audio-visual equipment out of site of the audience but allows for viewable production assistance. |
