- NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. You must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older and a legal resident of the United States.
- How to enter: You are automatically entered when you complete and transmit an email to contest@conferencetech., including your name, address, email address and date of birth, before midnight EST of April 18, 2008. Entrants must also submit their own story about why you want to go to InfoComm08. Sponsor may decline to post entries that it deems in its reasonable discretion are inappropriate. All entries become property of Conference Technologies Inc.®. Only one submission per entrant.
- Eligibility: Employees of Conference Technologies Inc.®, its affiliates, liquor wholesale licensees, retailers, as well as advertising/promotion agencies and their immediate family members and household members of each are not eligible. In the event that the Contest is challenged by any legal or regulatory authority, Sponsor or Administrator reserves the right to discontinue or modify the Contest, or to disqualify participants residing in the affected geographic areas. In such event Sponsor and Administrator shall have no liability to any entrants who are disqualified due to such an action.
- GRAND PRIZE: : 10 (10) GRAND PRIZES will be awarded: A trip for one (1) to Las Vegas, NV to be taken June 18, 2008. Trip includes round trip economy airfare for one from the commercial airport closest to winner's home to Las Vegas, NV; 3 days, 2 night stay at a Las Vegas hotel (standard room/double occupancy, hotel selected by sponsor). Total prize value is estimated at $1,000. If winner cannot travel on the date of trip prize, then he/she may forfeit the prize and an alternate winner may be selected. Limit one prize per entrant. Grand Prize winner is responsible for all travel documentation that is required.
- JUDGING: The top 25 rated stories will be reviewed and a winner will be selected by independent judges from these eligible story submissions. Judging will be based on why you want the trip and any related projects pertaining to the audiovisual industry. All decisions are final. Unclaimed prize will not be awarded.
- TAXES: All federal, state, and local taxes on any prize are the sole responsibility of the prize winner. Taxes and registration on the GRAND PRIZE are the responsibility of the GRAND PRIZE winner. No substitution or transfer of prizes permitted without Sponsor's permission or where required by law. Non-cash prizes cannot be redeemed for cash value. All federal, state, and local laws apply.
- PARTICIPATION: Participants agree that by submitting their entry they release the Sponsor from any liability in connection with their computer equipment/software. The Sponsor is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunctions or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any material in this promotion.
- CLAIMING PRIZES/RELEASES: On or about May 8, 2008 winner will be notified either by mail, email or by phone and will be instructed how to claim the prize.
- ACCEPTANCE: By accepting a prize, any winner: (a) releases Conference Technologies Inc.® and their affiliated companies and employees from any/all liability claims, action or proceedings arising out of or for injuries or damages sustained while involved in any promotion activity or connection with the use of the prizes; as well as (b) consents to the use by Conference Technologies Inc.®. for promotional purposes in connection with this promotion, of his or her name and/or likeness and/or voice without further compensation where permitted. The Sponsor and participating promotional companies are not in any way liable for damage, loss or injury resulting from computer malfunctions, misdirected or incomplete entries or acceptance and use of the prize. Conference Technologies Inc.®. reserves the right in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend this Contest should virus, bugs or other causes beyond the control of sponsor corrupt the administration, security or proper play of the Contest. The Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel terminate or suspend the Contest. The Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communication line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. CAUTION: Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the game is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such attempt.
